I am a freelance digital marketer with over seven years of experience in content creation, SEO, web design, and PPC advertising. I help businesses craft powerful data-driven digital strategies to generate qualified leads and boost sales.
As a kid, I was always fascinated by smartphones and gadgets. I’d spend hours on end on Google troubleshooting problems that I’d create for myself. This curiosity about tech and all the countless how-to guides fueled a desire to start my own blog. A blog filled with tech tips and guides, benefiting hundreds of readers. But that never happened; no one seemed to read my post. It wasn’t long before I found myself back on Google, searching ‘why isn’t anyone reading my blog?’ That’s when I was introduced to the world of content writing, SEO, all those technical terms that hold the key to online success.
In 2016, after familiarizing myself with the basics of content writing and SEO, I launched my first ‘official’ tech blog. I started writing articles and how-to guides that people were actually looking for online. This blog allowed me to refine my content writing skills and implement powerful SEO strategies and content marketing techniques. Over the next 2 years, I wrote more than 100 articles and my blog was attracting tons of pageviews daily, thanks to my effective implementation of both on-page and off-page SEO. I also experimented heavily with advertising by implementing Adsense and affiliate marketing. Additionally, I also launched 2 more blogs alongside this one, and all of them were successful.
Driven by a desire for knowledge, in 2019 I found myself intrigued by the exciting world of PPC adverts and eCommerce. I started studying the eCommerce space and launched a couple of dropshipping projects. Sure, most of those early projects failed, but they turned into valuable lessons. I learned a lot about researching markets, targeting the right audience, and analyzing data. Throughout this period, I actively experimented and finally managed to launch a couple of successful projects.
From 2016 to 2021, I built over 20 websites – mostly my own projects, but I also helped out a few local businesses. In 2021 along with my other projects, I started focusing more on web design principles like UI/UX and started experimenting with how designs contribute to driving engagement. I made myself familiar with tools like Figma, WordPress Elementor, and coding languages (HTML, CSS & JS). I started prioritizing user experience, contrast, color palette, visual hierarchy, and more.
In 2022, I transitioned into freelancing with the mission of helping businesses connect with their target audiences. Since then, I’ve collaborated with over a dozen clients from various industries worldwide. My primary focus has been on crafting high-performing and visually stunning websites that effectively communicate client services/products and drive significant conversions. I have achieved this by implementing web design principles, clear visual hierarchies, compelling value propositions, and strategic SEO techniques. In addition to website design, I’ve also worked with a few clients to manage their social media campaigns, content creation, content marketing, paid ads, and lead generation efforts. Working with all these clients has taught me the skills of client communication, project management, and most importantly, provided me with valuable insights into customer acquisition strategies for businesses.
